If I had to choose a favourite colour it would probably be blue. This blue is all the more intense thanks to the other colours around it using hue contrast and colour ratio principals

If you’re like me, you countdown the days to the winter solstice, from which point the dawns are earlier and the sunsets later and spring is just round the corner. Phew!

One bright, crisp morning the sun was shining through the petals of spring flowers. They became translucent, like a child’s jelly. I’ve tried to capture this translucency
